    Thanks for coming

    Filed under: Uncategorized;

    It was a lovely day in Romsey today for St Georges Day parade, the sun was shining and it was really warm as we gathered for the parade to start in Latimore Street car park. We set off from the car park slightly later than planned. There was lots of people in Romsey watching the parade go by as we headed towards the Abbey.

    The service had a mixture of hymns, readings and prayers, plus a fantastic speech from an explorer about Georges trust which is a local trust helping local community organisations and groups helping young people. The service ended with the national anthem before the Abbey emptied onto the lawn beside ready to parade back past the gathered VIPs

    Thank you to all the Scouts for attending today and looking really smart. Everyone that came will get points towards the points competition.

    Do not forget the canoeing on 9th May and also Badgesplash which is on the 7th May. Hope everyone has a fantastic Easter break and see you all next term.
